Live Free or Die Mug

In 1809, a group of veterans gathered to commemorate the Battle of Bennington. General John Stark, known as The Hero of Bennington, was unable to attend due to illness. He offered a letter to his men, which read:

“Live Free or Die: Death is not the worst of evils.”

No words more perfectly encapsulate the American Revolution.

Our Live Free or Die design is adorned by an evergreen tree, as a symbol of the Battle of Bennington.
